Ik Oankar (à©´) is the foundational truth of Sikhism, meaning There is One Universal Creator. It affirms that all creation flows from a single, eternal, formless reality that transcends divisions of religion, caste, gender, and culture. More than a statement of belief, Ik Oankar is a way of understanding life—reminding us that all humanity is interconnected, and calling us to live with humility, equality, compassion, and service toward others.
